FROM AND UP TO WHAT AGE IS THE BABY SPA AND WELLNESS ?

From 1 month to 12 months old (for premature babies from the due date please count). Our regular arrangements with the neck float are suitable for babies up to 7 months old. After 7 months, the baby becomes too busy and too big for the bath and he/she can stand and push off in the bath. We have the Chestfloat for babies from 8-12 months old.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION TAKE?

A session lasts approximately 45/60 minutes. Your baby will float in the water for approximately 10 to 20 minutes, depending on their response at the first visit. The more often your baby comes, the more he/she wants or can float longer (up to max 30 min). Floating can be followed by a shantala baby massage. The massage is performed by one of the parents/carers under the supervision of a certified baby masseuse.

SHOULD WE BRING OUR BABY BEFORE OR AFTER FEEDING?

Your baby should not be hungry or tired or he/she will not get the best out of the session. Hydrotherapy cannot be compared to bathing/showering or swimming in a swimming pool, it takes a lot of energy!

CANCELLATION POLICY & NO SHOW money back ?

Are you prevented? Then we request that you cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the appointment. This can be done by e-mail and is final after confirmation. If you have not agreed anything with us and do not show up, unfortunately we cannot return money or credit. Because we would have incurred unnecessary costs. (Think of filling and keeping a bath reserved, etc.)

In case of cancellation, we do NOT give money back for (down) payments or vouchers. After cancellation you can schedule a new appointment within 14 days. If this does not happen within 14 days, you will still lose your money.

I'm late, can I still come?

Make sure you are present 10 minutes in advance because of dressing the little one and getting used to the space, etc.

Are you 5 minutes late? Let us know. These minutes are included in the session time.

If you are 10 minutes late, the session will be cancelled. This in order not to disturb the other sessions. We do not refund money because of the unnecessary costs we have incurred.

DO YOU CLEAN THE WATER AFTER EACH FLOAT SESSION?

The baths are filled with purified water, chlorine-free and with the correct temperature between 35 ° C and 37 ° C. The baths are cleaned after each session.

WHAT DOES THE BABY SPA PROVIDE

On arrival you will receive a free welcome drink from us.

We provide the swimming diaper, 100% warm pure massage oil, warm bath capes and towels.

After floating, your baby will be wrapped in a soft, warm hooded towel. All our bath capes and towels are washed with unscented detergent.

After floating it is possible to let the baby enjoy a massage using pure organic oils to keep their skin soft and hydrated. The massage includes gentle exercises to build flexibility and strength.

Our floating rings meet the European safety requirements CE (EN71), which are the standards for the safety of children's articles in Europe. The material is BPA free and completely safe according to the European standard

CAN WE BRING EXTRA VISITORS?

A maximum of two visitors per baby are allowed to come to the appointment. Children under 10 years old are not allowed. They can be a distracting factor for the baby or other families. We want to create a relaxed and peaceful environment. There are NO exceptions for this!

CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEO?

That's allowed, we understand that parents want to record special experiences. However, keep in mind that the session should be viewed as a relaxing experience and a bonding moment for parents and babies. Babies get annoyed when cameras are pointed at them all the time. Flashes are prohibited. We also ask you not to photograph or film other babies/parents. This is to ensure the privacy of other babies and their parents. If you post photos or videos on social media, we would love to tag @BabyspaSamen.

DURING VACCINATION OR ILLNESS

A baby who has just been vaccinated is unfortunately not allowed to participate in a float session within the next 72 hours. This also applies to a baby with flu, cough, fever, viral infection or the like. When your baby has fully recovered, he/she can participate in a session.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE VISIT THE BABY SPA?

Let's start by saying that as parents you are never obliged to visit a baby spa. This is up to you as a parent. We see some babies twice a week and other babies once every 2 months.

CAN YOU BRING PETS TO THE BABY SPA?

Unfortunately we cannot allow pets due to hygiene and allergies of any other visitors.

LOST AND FOUND

If you forget / lose something during your visit to our baby spa, we will of course do our utmost to ensure that your belongings return to you in good order. If we come across such items, we will leave them behind for you and we will try to inform you about this. Of course you can always call or email us yourself. However, your own belongings remain your own responsibility and we are not liable if you lose something or if your belongings break in our spa through no fault of our staff.
